Any NOMADS fans here?
Am I the only one who thought Nomads (1986) was a cool little creepy thriller?
Sure, it was confusing at times and those "Inuats" weren't that scary actually (Adam Ant, Josie Cotton and Mary Woronov: they looked and behaved like your average delinquent street punks) - but it was solidly directed by John McTiernan, and the soundtrack featured a few kicking guitar licks by Ted Nugent MGM's DVD has a nice 16:9 transfer but the (2.0 mono) sound is kinda weak though.

It has a dreamlike quality that gets through me every time I catch it on TV. Good film. Are there any extras on the dvd?

Nope, just a Trailer.
Nomads was originally a "Atlantic" production/release. MGM has put out quite a few "Atlantic" titles on DVD lately (Echo Park, Teen Wolf, Extremities). Makes me wonder if they also hold the rights to "Night Of The Comet", which was also a Atlantic release.

Nomads is pretty cool. Gonna snag me the DVD when I come across it, not that easy to find 'round here.
