This was one of the best of the sequals IMO. Henry Thomas (of E.T. fame) played an EXCELLENT young Bates! Though the story was kinda sick....Norman wouldn't be who he was in the original Psycho if he DIDN'T have a sick past. I remember seeing it on Showtime when it 1st premiered way back when, and I was HOOKED! Great pre-qual.

I am one of the few that N-joyed Psycho II-IV (though Hitchcock still RULES!!) I don't see why Universal doesn't just put it out, now that they've bought back their rights from Goodtimes.

A widescreen Psycho II would be nice too!

A nice boxset of the entire series would be great. I loved these films and I'm glad Perkins came back to make them. Fun, twisted films.

I liked all of the Psycho sequels even the spin-off Bates Motel. Psycho's subsequent films has been kind to the original in that they haven't messed with the original as to water it down.

I liked the sequels although they seemed just to be a rehash of the original. I would have liked to seen Norman Bates put in different senarios instead of just the motel. I did like The Beginning..I thought it was a good way to explain things.

Past 2 years many old horror hits released on dvd but not enough ...

Still some good titles are not in the dvd scene ...

The producers still looking horror scene , weak to gain money , but in fact the horror movie lovers usually more ready to buy than the others ...

Great, so now we can have another $25 non-SE DVD like Halloween II

Bets thing about it was that Buffy look-a-like young Norman met.

No. It might have been from Goodtimes. Possibly.

I wish this would be released. I actually liked it quite a bit (the most of any of the other sequels, btw) and I watch it every time I see it on TV. It's a twisted, sordid little tale.

I'd wonder how a boxset could be released very easily, as I'm not sure the different companies could get together like that. Um, also, I'd HOPE they'd release it outside of a boxset as well, because I have the first three already.

Edited: I just noticed the dates... this is another OLD thread, aie!
