New trailer released today.
Well that was better than the last trailer. Still, they should have called this "mostly close-ups".
If you can't make the Fathom event, the disc release is on October 15th (less than a month later) via LionsGate.
They're even doing a 4K release.
I wish lionsgate would release a boxset.
I wish Zombie would try to make a horror movie with a classic feel. I remember seeing his home tour a while back and being surprised that he owns all those classic horror movie posters. Yet the movies he continues to make are these backwoods character type movies. Although I haven't seen his witch movie yet.
Meet the 3 From Hell in these exclusive photos from Rob Zombie’s latest, unleashing in nearly 900 select movie theaters on September 16, 17 and 18, 2019 through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network.
3 from Hell takes place directly after the events of The Devil’s Rejects, with Otis (Bill Moseley), Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) and Spaulding (Sid Haig) somehow managing to survive a hail of bullets. Their “satanic recovery” leads to them being locked up in prison, and an inevitable escape again unleashes the trio – or at least Otis and Baby, joined by Richard Brake‘s new character Foxy – upon the world.
The photos allude to the “three” being Otis, Baby, and Foxy, leaving us wondering the role Captain Spaulding plays in the sequel. There are some really cool shots of Otis and Baby in prison, especially one in which Baby is covered in blood.
I feel like Zombie has milked a lot of famous movie sets and ranches for his trilogy.
House used Four Aces in Palmdale for Captain Spaulding's and the Best Little Whorehouse In Texas chicken ranch on the Universal backlot as the Firefly home.
Devil's Rejects used Club Ed in Palmdale as the motel and the old ranch house on Sable Ranch (which was destroyed in a wildfire a few years ago) as the Firefly home.
That top picture above from 3 From Hell is on the Veluzat ranch just down the trail from where the Higgins Haven set from Friday The 13th Part 3D was before a fan burned it down.
All of these locations have been featured in tons of movies.
Who's got their tickets already?!? Pumped. Hope my expectations aren't setting me up for disappointment.
Jeepers Creepers 3 which had a similar release was a fucking turd and a half. I have faith in Rob though.....
Really wanted to see 3 from Hell in the theater, but doubt that I will. Three days only - worse yet it's Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday.
Got my tickets booked for night 1. Half the theater sold already. I'm hoping to at least like the movie enough to get a frame for the poster they're giving away....as opposed to discarding on my way out the theater lol
The Roger Ebert website gave it a perfect 4-star review: https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/3-from-hell-2019
Am I the only one that doesn't really care about Zombies films? I have the first two on dvd maybe I should watch them but the idea of white trash people dropping the F' bomb all the time doesn't really do it for me.
The only one I enjoy is Devil's Rejects. Though I haven't seen it in almost 10 years now.
I mostly find his movies and characters (Especially Sheri Moon Zombie's characters) to be REALLY annoying.
Though since this is a sequel to Devil's Reject, I will give it a chance.
I fucking love Rob Zombie. All his films perfect? Nope. But I enjoy most his work.
Watched House of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects back to back in preparation for 3 from hell tomorrow night......and both movies still hold up incredibly well. I love both films as different as they are. Pumped for tomorrow night. Halloween season has begun, motherfuckers.
I tried rewatching House of 1000 Corpses a few years back and could barely make it though. I thought it was dreadful. I think the only thing he's made that I kind of enjoyed was Lords of Salem.
I like both his Halloween films as well as both house of 1000 corpses and devils rejects. Didn't care for his animated movie superbeasto or lords of salem and 31 was just OK.
Pretty cool poster they gave away tonight

I had fun tonight. Don't wanna say much, I'll wait till after the 3 night run is over.
I really wanted to like it but came away disappointed. No spoilers here but I found myself looking at my watch more than once, ready for the film to end. The Freebird shootout followed by Terry Reid’s “Seed of Memory” will always be the true end of the Firefly saga for me.
For those interested, Rob Zombie was on the Joe Rogan Podcast recently. Here are some of the horror related sections of their conversation.
