Does it matter when he's not releasing any of these announced titles anyway? Who knows when any of these releases will come out if they even come out at all.

While there are things in Bill's bucketlist (a term which he has decided no longer to use) I hope will actually see a release, it's somewhat disheartening to see how many titles he's put on his slate. I mean, how many titles has he announced? How long will it take to get those out? And what does that mean for the prospects of ever getting Rituals, Spawn of Slithis, Sole Survivor, and Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker on Blu? I don't know if it's just me, but I don't see much clamoring for The Jigsaw Murders or Acapulco Gold...

Yeah no kidding, and since this is a "one guy operation" it's probably only a matter of time before one of the releases has a big screw-up somehow. The Vampires Night Orgy had a bad encoding glitch, but that was thankfully only minor...but still bullshit for it's high selling price. I doubt we'd ever see any corrected discs issued if there were a big screw-up with a release.

I hope they come out, but he's announcing far more stuff than he's releasing. And some of these titles just aren't going to sell very well at inflated $30 prices, and he'll wonder why.

To be fair, even larger companies occasionally have screw-ups - Scream Factory's Halloween 4 synch issues, Arrow cutting several seconds out of Zombie, etc. - which have prompted them to offer corrected discs. That said, you might be more prone to making bad calls if you have no real sparring partners ("sure I can sell 1000 copies of Acapulco Gold at 30 bucks a pop"). But hey, some of those bad calls may be in my favour, so I guess I shouldn't complain - I don't know how many copies Terror Circus has sold, but I'm sure glad to have it in my collection. ;)

Yes, but to please the fans who have bought this non-perfect disc he has made it OOP, so now it's worth even more! It's a scheme so crazy it must be genius!!!

Which imperfect disc are you talking about, and what's the issue with it?

So whatever happened to that 'Folks at Red Wolf Inn' DVD that got announced on the Code Red blog three years ago? I was really looking forward to that.

I think they're talking about The Vampire's Night Orgy, he pulled that one last month because of the glitch mentioned.

Of course, the frame with all the digital mess... Never got the release, don't particularly miss it. I am generally happy with the Code Red releases I have. Redeemer: Son of Satan! has one scene where all sorts of green weirdness fills out the damage, but given the obscurity of the film and what Bill had to work with, I can live with it. :)

I skimmed through the Code Red Facebook page earlier and couldn't find an announcement for Trapped coming to Blu, though I might have missed it. Odd that after all the recent announcements, a previously unannounced title is the one to get released.

From what I could tell, there have been 17 new releases announced since the first of the year (15 Bucketlist, one before the Bucketlist announcements started, and once since he stopped using the term.) That's a huge number of titles for a one-man operation. I'm guessing it will be awhile before any of these are ready for release.

I would buy Spasms on blu-ray, but not willing to pay $25 shipped for a DVD anymore.

Well it's about time that the movie gets a High Def upgrade.
The transfer on the DVD was very soft, and looked more like an older transfer made for Laserdisc, which it might have been.
Hopefully 88 Films, Arrow or some German label releases it over here in Europe.
