That's the MPAA for you, have you ever seen the garage door death from Scream, the R and unrated I've seen running together and I can't see the difference, and I looked, I looked hard!

Yep, pulling the trigger on Bloodthirsty Trilogy finally.

    Deciding among:
    12 Monkeys
    Horrors of Malformed Men
    The Pyjama Girl Case

    to fill out the order.

Chances of me getting all 4 of those movies: Excellent.

I went just to see prices and BN.com gave me a 15% Off any one item coupon, so I checked and they're letting me stack it on Arrow sales titles.

I may finally pull the trigger on American Horror Project.

Got three of the four movies I listed. 12 Monkeys isn't available on the site, at least not now. I think this sale goes a while, I'll get it later I hope. Had a 10% off entire order coupon (FALL10), which I figure is better than 15 off a single.

I'd be more excited about some of the new Arrow releases if I thought it was possible to actually obtain them. Arrow shipped my sale order on 10/15 and it still isn't here. Did they entrust them to a dude with an inflatable raft?

As much as I like getting 10% back through Arrow's reward program, Amazon UK is a lot more reliable when it comes to shipping.

Do they ship things out "2nd class" royal mail by any chance? I had a recent package with replacement discs sent by BBC/Sony via that method, and it took right over a month to arrive to me from the UK.

I placed an order for 10 movies exactly one month ago. About 10 days ago two of the movies showed up but so far nothing on the other eight. Also they didn't give rewards for this sale.

This seems like a likely scenario. Freaking ridiculous. Even when I choose the cheapest shipping method from Amazon UK, it rarely takes more than 2 weeks to get my items. I hope these discs are at least securely packaged. It would really be a kick to the nether region to wait this long and receive damaged discs.

There's no such thing as second class when it comes to international shipping, there's airmail or boat, airmail from UK to US should take 7-14 days, boat estimated 1-2 months, I'd be surprised if they went boat method as the savings are negligible.

All I know is that the package that arrived from the UK definitely stated "2nd Class" on the label when it got to me, and it took nearly 5 weeks to arrive. Maybe BBC/Sony just added that on there for some reason.

Royal Mail just lists "International Standard" or "International Economy" on their website.

^Definitely sounds by boat. In Canada, the difference in cost is significant. Same with the estimate in delivery time.

If, like me, you never got around to picking up the Romero box set, you may notice that The Crazies is not available from B&N. However, it's going for $16-and change on amazon (might only be for Prime though). I went ahead and got the other two through B&N's sale plus Deadbeat at Dawn.

    Carry on.

This just keeps getting better and better. I'm 90% sure that Fedex attempted to deliver my package this morning while I was at the grocery store. It was sent SIGNATURE REQUIRED, and the Fedex tool marked the door sticker FINAL DELIVERY ATTEMPT even though this is the first try.

Note to self...stick with Amazon UK. This is what I get for being cheap.

I've ordered direct from Arrow 11 times over the past few years and don't recall ever having to sign for a package.

Yeah, I placed two orders at the Arrow UK sale last month, and both arrived quite a long time ago.

If it's a sale item ordered from arrow UK I'd be surprised if it was signed for, an average sized blu cost around £4.80 from UK to USA, if it's signed it goes up to around £12.00.

Unless you've ordered loads from them in one order, then that's a different story!
