I haven't seen [Rec] yet so I'm not going to vote but right now Shaun is my favourite followed by Planet Terror and all three Resident Evil flicks.

Man, that's actually a REALLY good list when you think about it. I picked [REC] because I found it to be the scariest and most well-done, but there are a ton of movies up there I love. Shaun, Planet Terror, 28 Days and 28 Weeks, I thought the Dawn remake was good (especially the first ten minutes), and I really dug Slither.

Actually, I really need to watch Slither again soon.

Voted other for Zombie Strippers, watched it last night and laughed pretty hard.
Thought it was the best zombie spoof since Return Of The Living Dead.

they have all been rather disappointing something is missing from the current "resurrection" of zombie films, I voted for undead because I found it the most entertaining but meh.

I've really enjoyed quite a few on this list---I will have to give it to the DAWN remake just because it gave me the same creeped out "we're all doomed" feeling that the original did. But I really liked SHAUN, FIDO, SLITHER, PLANET TERROR, and several others, and I could have voted for any one of those depending on my mood at the time.

I guess it helped that I had little to no expectations of this film, but wound up enjoying it anyway. When it came to Shaun of the Dead, Twenty Eight Days Later, Land Of The Dead and Planet Terror I had high expectations but wound up disapointed. I've seen just about every Italian zombie film in existence and even read Book Of The Dead about a year ago, none of these new ones do it for me.

I'd have to agree, but then I haven't seen the big ones from off that list yet.

If any zombie film can top Zombie 2 with the topless scuba diver being attacked by a zombie that then gets attacked by a shark I've yet to see or hear of it.

Fido, how I love thee. Gorgeous, emotional film that succeeded at all it wanted. I was so impressed with what it achieved. Wholly different from everything else on that pretty cool list. Except MOH: Homecoming, which was one of the worst zombie films I've seen.

edit: wanted to say that in terms of cover art, Fido would be near the bottom of the barrel. I feel as if this film lost a lot of potential based on the studio's lame attempt to "scare" potential customers with this garbage:

I think I enjoyed Planet Terror the most although Shaun of the Dead was very funny and 28 days later was solid
