If you're having guest over this Thanksgiving, try something new this year....

As your family and friends gather this Thursday to stuff their fat faces, instead of watching boring football on television, pop in a good 'ole dvd from your collection.

I'm going to surprise my families guest with none other than "Blood Freak." What better represents the themes of "thanks giving" than a film about a rampaging turkey monster on a marijuana high?

Anyone got any other "good" ideas?

They can take my remote to change the channel from my dead cold hands! :D

Then again I can switch to the turkey scene in The Horror Show

I attempted a screening of Blood Freak last year, but I don't think anyone was impressed.

I haven't seen Blood Freak.

I'll probably pop a few discs in on Thanksgiving, but dinner is always very informal at my grandfather's house, so it'll just be like any other day, but with turkey and stuffing. :D

I'm gonna stuff my ass full of everything then watch Blood Freak and Godmonster of Indian Flats then maybe follow up with Satan's Children again.
Well that's what I have planned if my wife doesn't get the remote first. If she is quicker than my overstuffed ass we will probably be watching the Life Time channel :(

Life Time is pretty much poop but the Golden Girls will NEVER be on in this house.

Last time I watched Lifetime they had a double feature with Estelle Warren in a rape revenge story and another women in a Fugative rip which placed her in jail as a pre-teen! Two lurid tales I can't say I didn't enjoy watching.

As for thanksgiving, we'll just be watching football. But wouldn't something like Cannibal Holocaust be a great dinner feature during the main course? That disc came just in time for the holidays now didn't it? :D

I'd watch Home Sweet Home if it was on DVD. Nightmare At Shadow Woods takes place on Thanksgiving but I already seen it last Sunday, so I'll either watch Blood Freak or Planes, Trains & Automobiles :)

Yes I have seen it, I also have stepped in dog shit. Both of them sucked equally.
