    From wikipedia:

"Chemical Wedding is a supernatural horror film produced with the London-based Focus Films. It is directed by Julian Doyle, who edited Terry Gilliam's Brazil and Time Bandits, Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life. The story is based on an original screenplay by Bruce Dickinson, frontman of Iron Maiden. Dickinson released a solo album entitled The Chemical Wedding in 1998, which despite sharing the title and the title track from the album featuring on the soundtrack, is otherwise unrelated.

    *snip*

Simon Callow stars as a Professor Oliver Haddo, a modern Cambridge scholar who becomes possessed by Aleister Crowley, the famous occultist. The plot concerns Crowley being implanted into Haddo when Haddo entered a virtual reality machine and supercomputer, which has been corrupted by a follower of Crowley, and how he creates havoc in the surrounding area and university campus."

I heard about this through My Space earlier. I should have posted it here but...anywho. Thanks for getting a thread started on it MC. ;) It looks kinda cool but kinda goofy too. It has Bruce from Iron Maiden attached to it so I definitely want to check it out.

I actually really enjoyed it. It's a mixture of science fiction, black comedy...and horror lastly. In fact, I wouldn't really even call it a "Horror" film per se. The formula for the film is very odd and certainly not for everyone. Also, it really isn't always an accurate personification of who Crowley was IRL.

Some of the scenes are just downright bizarre, a "spoiler" example here:

Crowley, reincarnated as a college professor, proceeds to chat at the podium to a group of students regarding the works of Shakespeare...and then suddenly whips it out and nonchalantly pisses all over them.

I'd recommend renting it, but I honestly don't regret my blind buy for $10.

Bruce Dickinson also has a few small cameos throughout the film.
