Wow, not even a trailer? That's low.

A great film like that deserves better treatment supplement wise.

Yeah it was a shame that they had such a stupid documentary that had nothing to do with the movie at all. (I have absolutely no interest in watching it)

But MY LORD does the movie look beautiful in BLU

Isn't it a History Channel documentary?

I think so. It's so fucking stupid tho. I popped it in last night after I posted that comment. It's not even in HD. Fuck...what a wasted opportunity.

Is there actually more that they could add as special features (besides interviews)?

About fucking time. All they have to do is copy the Region 2 release.

Looking into don't mean it'll happen. And they probably couldn't copy the release considering the region 2 edition is owned by Universal.

I know that all too well - I'm just criticizing their "efforts." Lameasses.

It is pretty shameful on WB's part. And yes, I have no idea what right's issues would be involved.

It brings to mind MGM upcoming re-release of Last House on the Left. The region 2 edition is a 3 disc set, region 1 is getting a 1 disc set. What gives?

I don't think MGM would have ever given the movie a 2-disc. But, since they're now under ownership by 20th Century Fox... I don't know what to expect. In fact, I'm surprised as hell they still keep any contact with Fox News, since 20th distributes a movie such as The Object of My Affection. So everything-Fox is a mystery to me.

I want to know quality comparisons once MGM release their disc. Atm the region 2 set seems the way to go.

Hopefully Horrordvds . com will do that when it (finally) comes out. I've searched Google for Halloween DVD comparison shots since someone mentioned that the ones in the Divimax-2 Disc 20th Anniversary Edition DVD review didn't work or were removed... And it seems all the results I got were of places that referenced me back to Horrordvds . com. I'd say people consider this place a leading source for this kind of thing.

I know I do. Was that problem ever fixed or are the Halloween comparisons still missing?
And I'm also hoping we get a comparison review once Last House on the Left comes out.

That's annoying, it was a good comparison of screen shots.

I found the R1 version at Big Lots today for $3. I bought it. I sat at home staring at the box for a few minutes and decided to check around on prices for the R2 SE. You guys were right, Amazon UK was awesome for price. I decided to return the shit version and get my 3 and a quarter back and sink that into the r2 SE. Had to do it. Only ran me about $11.33US total shipped.

Pretty good. I really need this SE is my collection. It was the same thing with The Hitcher awhile back too. Had to have the SE.
