Not sure what to make of this from the stuff I've read but the trailer is pretty cool.

Of course I'll reserve any judgement until seeing it, but that trailer was put together quite well. It actually made zombies look scary again.

Looks good! Was worried a bit when I first heard about this, but like Cloverfield, I think this camera gimmick just makes everything seem more real and scary.

  6. This looks really good. I just hate that most people will probably think George is ripping off Cloverfield.

Finally watched the trailer. I had been keeping my expectations low, but this seems like old school Romero. Look forward to seeing this next month.

Saw it. I really liked it. A lot more low key. Different does not always translate into something good, but in this case, I am really happy he went this route. Romero was never my fave, but ironically, I am liking him more now than growing up.

This has been hitting the torrent circuit which is how I imagine that people are seeing it early. What is the official release date?

Is this going into wide release next week? I never understood why the Weinsteins picked this up to only release it in 50 theaters!!!?!

Diary of the dead was really good.

Saw it last night at the Ritz Bourse in Philly Pa.It was a really good movie,it wasnt shot like LOTD,more indie style. The gore was good, everything looked like prosthetics. The characters were likeable, the story line was pretty neat, and where all the cast where from was also indeed a nice nod to my home state.Romero has it back and im proud of him for going to bat again after LOTD,the theater consisted of alot of fans and only a couple unsuspected movie goiers.I look forward to owning this on dvd,oh GAR also gave a nod to some of his older films.

This is playing at an independent theater not to far away from me.I may try to make it there today. Is this film not going to make it to the major theatre chains?
