Amen! Warners gave this overlooked gem the shaft with a barebones foolscreen release. There has to be plenty of behind-the-scenes goodies somewhere.

    Lifeforce

The Final Terror- I don't need a loaded SE of this, but an upgrade would be nice.

The Road Warrior- Where's the SE?!

Many lists feature Creepshow. No big shock there... Warners has been dragging their feet on a much needed SE. Isn't there one planned for R2?

Honestly! I don't care if it's just the movie and a trailer as a special feature. Just as long as they transfer the movie from an actual PRINT OF FILM! The DVD out now is ridiculous.

The R2 16X9 dub I have looks great, but needs some side dishes.

The R2 is 16x9 and that's about the only bonus. I wouldn't mind a 16x9 R1 with few cool extras though.

Creepshow and Beetlejuice are my biggest ones... good call on Pumpkinhead too, that movies really needs a better release.

I've never seen Michael Mann's "The Keep," so any release of that would be very welcome.

And I may get flamed for this, but a Director's Cut loaded DVD of Waterworld would be cool...I know it's a rip off of the Road Warrior, but some of the action scenes are great.

Some Deluxe versions of the Death Wish films would totally make my year.

I would definately like a Willow two disc edition. It's one of my favorite Ron Howard movies.

Cronenberg's Crash. Bestest movie ever. The current DVD's are rubbish extras wise - and we all know there was a Criterion Laserdisc with a Directors commentary in the past.

Agreed, most of Cronenberg's catalogue needs rereleased. ie The Brood, Rabid, etc

I know I keep moaning about the same old thing, but it continues to infuriate me that the R2 disc ships with an excellent 5.1 track IN SPANISH, and a 2.0 in English. :(

Tell me about it! The DVD quality is utter shit. The cover looks like another DTV Lionsgate loser. The original artwork wasn't much better, but still... What was I expecting for $6.99? ;) Too bad AB didn't release this a long time ago. :(

Thanks! I wasn't aware of another release. The cover's kinda crappy, but at least it's 16x9 and cheap too.

Yeah, Nightbreed would be pretty cool. I've been holding out on that. Also, don't know if there's a better edition than I've ever seen but Maximum Overdrive would be sweet.

A Nightbreed directors cut would be SO great, but I doubt WB sees enough potential money in it to invest in a new edition. Barker really wants to do it though...

A special edition of Maximum Overdrive would be pretty cool if done right. Didn't AB promise us an unrated cut years back? From http://www.geocities.com/happytoyzco/: The scenes are reported to total about 13 seconds & include an extended look at the steamroller running over the kid in the baseball field, the bible salesman losing his face & it falling into his lap and more of the truck stop shoot-out scene. I would like to see that stuff put back into the movie! A commentary with King would also be nice. He can apologize for not scaring the hell outta of us like he promised in the trailer. ;) I remember a great radio spot that had a reporter telling us that the machines were taking over. It reminded me of the old War of the Worlds radio program, cause they played it like it was really happening.

It seems they can't find the footage, 3 years already. :(

Here are some informations about deleted scenes. :)
    http://www.clivebarker.info/nbscene3a.html

If they can't make director's cut, I would like to hear some commentary or interview - how David Cronenberg was cast in his part and how he liked it. ;)
