Yeah I'm a little bummed about the cover art. It's there but I want to see it unaltered with the awesome tagline. This is what it should look like:

...and this was 'Vinegar Syndrome' and not one of the majors. How can someone who claims to love and 'rescue' these old movies come up with such a tackiness :fucked:

Who cares about the artwork. We got original art on the front cover and a 4k remaster of an obscure slasher film. It's never been shown on home video in widescreen and we're getting that with a ton of features. Seriously who fucking cares.

 Yeah. A 4k scan, four interviews, two commentary tracks and a trailer. Man, FUCK VINEGAR SYNDROME.

I know right. Fucking hell; I can barely see the differences in those covers for gods sake.

Seriously, someone is complaining? ... about the artwork?

It took me less than a day to warm up to the VS GD artwork, and now I think it's great. Love the red borders too. You don't know how good you have it. Why don't you go back to the mid 2000s, when The Burning's photoshopped cover existed and was the norm.

Wow. This is ridiculous. I can't wait to buy the BD of GD. Sometimes horror fans are the worst.

But there's a silver lining: most of them are the best.

 I know right, what a shit company releasing a 4k scan of an obscure slasher. You just can't make this kind of shit up on here.

i've never seen this, but am looking forward to checking it out. i wasn't sure which disc to get, but now that i know which supplements each release will have, i'm definitely going for the Vinegar Syndrome version - i'll take film-specific supplements over general retrospectives pretty much any time.

Commentary #2 features The Hysteria Continues

Tell me, has Justin's style improved? I've heard a few of his podcasts (okay, maybe one or two) and they are tedious to listen to. Good content just the rest of it is severely lacking, so much ums and ahs it drives me mental!

Being dated isn't even a flaw unless it's something set in the future. Probably the most annoying of all film criticisms.
