i really dig this Bride poster, and its whole Gray's Anatomy look. i do agree with criswell in that i find these more of a curiosity than something i would actually spend my money on. its kind of the poster equivalent of fan fiction. but im glad IJ keeps posting them up here. they're definitely cool to see. keep it up.

Did you score the UHF? Man that thing looked awesome. I was broke that week and by the time I had a couple bucks it had already sold out.
I'm hoping the Bride print keeps people off the Richard Pryor print for a while so I can snag that one. Richard Pryor was one of my childhood heroes, would be cool to get that one framed :)

In a way they are and in a way they aren't. These prints are actually created by commissioned artists and officially licensed through their respective studios and rights holders. It'd be more like some of the Star Wars novels that tell stories outside of what we saw in the movies but often involve the same characters and are give the Lucas blessing. Some people love 'em, some people think they're kinda goofy :)

Alright I wasn't gonna post about new posters anymore but honestly I think some of you might really get a kick out of this one.

Monster Creeps (aka Monster Squad meets Night of the Creeps)
    !

    - limited to 250 prints
    - 24x36 full color offset poster print
    - printed on 80# glossy cover stock
    - individually numbered and signed by Fred Dekker !

$34.99 available now from Fright Rags

There's also a neat Halloween III / The Fog mash-up print signed and numbered by Tom Atkins available too but the Monster Creeps poster really stole the show for me.

Both were made for the events this past weekend at the Dryden Theater in Rochester, NY which was the topic of another thread.
Anyways, there's that. No idea how fast these are gonna sell but I know I set my alarm this morning and snagged one quick just in case :)

So Tyler Stout did a "Let The Right One In" poster for Allcity Media's "Allcity Redrawn" show.
Allcity is the design firm that designed the original theatrical one sheet for the film.
Personally I think it's Tyler's best work to date and has everyone in the world of print geeks going nuts.
He did an email lottery for folks to get a chance to purchase it today and by some stroke of luck I was one of the chosen few :)
    Here's what it looks like:

As a little bonus surprise it looks like he's going to be tossing copies of his "The Thing" trading cards into the tube with the LTROI poster! Incredibly stoked on that.

This is the type of artwork that studios should use whenever the theatrical posters aren't being used. This work is beautiful.

So today two very cool horror related prints went up at Mondo.

    Ken Taylor's Poltergeist:
(The orange ink glows in the dark!)

and Olly Moss's Let Me In:

I was lucky enough to grab Let Me In while I was down in Austin at Fantastic Fest and I snagged a copy of Poltergeist online before it sold out this morning.

This month promises to see some pretty awesome posters including Aaron Horkey's outstanding Dracula.
I'll keep this thread updated as they drop :)

I would really love to get my hands on one of those Poltergeist posters.... Hopefully one will pop up on ebay that won't gouge the price.

The guy that runs The Lost Highway has some pretty cool 11x17 posters. I have the ones for EFNY and ROTLD; good stuff, and super cheap.

Alright guys just a heads up on some awesome stuff today.

As of this posting Tyler Stout has complete sets of his "The Thing" handbills for sale in his web store here.
I'm sure these will be gone by the time the sun rises but there you go.

Next up are Today's Mondo releases which include the absolutely stellar Dead Alive by Adam Haynes (Regular AND GID Variant)

and Rich Kelly's entirely awesome take on Beetlejuice!

The Mondo releases will go up at a random time today and as usual will sell out in short order.
Most times I don't get to post to this thread until after a drop has happened and the posters have sold out so hopefully this helps anyone who wants one of these score without turning to eBay and getting gouged :)

    Good luck!
