Based on her two or three tv appearances I've seen, she does have some serious talent.
How she'll develop it, dunno... But I've liked some of what I've seen.

If there's one thing I've learned in life, it's that the moment you say "no offense", everyone gets offended.

Haven't seen the video yet (I will tomorrow), but agreed- the song is weak. I find "Monster" and "Dance in the Dark" both to be superior.

That was pretty funny. You could learn a thing or two from this comedy team, Anthro. :p

Thumbs down from me. I'll take VenetianPrincess's parodies over this anyday.

Well, let's not forget music is music. Like I said before - it's not something to take that seriously. So, I'm sure you'll forgive me when I say pop isn't any more disposable than a large number of rock groups from any given time in history. Certain snobbish music fans always label anything they don't care about Pop and try to convince everyone else it's disposable. Well - that's your opinion. Because if I want to hear it, it's not disposable to me.

I'm getting sick of rock elitists trying to tell everyone else what is and isn't great. This is music we're talking about. We listen to what we want to hear. That's all there is to it. Music is like food, it's about personal preference and taste for our own sake.

So, go shove your Twisted Sister down your own throat, Anthro - because I think they suck.

Wow. You truly are the most mature, non-hypocritical person on this board.

Can we please get a big round of applause for DVD fanatic 9?

10 years from now, someone will post "go shove your Lady Gaga down your own throat".

And everyone else will say "who????"

While I didn't care for her debut album, I must say, I like The Fame Monster CD.

Well, we'll just have to see about that. Won't we?

Funny. You take one sentence out of context and suddenly, you think you made some great point...

What's the matter? Too busy to read the whole thing?

Shockingly amusing and clever. They seem to have budget on their side.

One thing, though- very little of this applies to Lady Gaga, specifically. At a certain point, it seems like they're going after artists like Peaches and/or Lords of Acid (the violent sex and freaky kink imagery) and... sorry to bring Aqua up again, but- the duet man/woman singing versus off each other isn't trademark of Gaga at all.

    Still, quite clever.

    Sure. That's why.

It's because you know I never anything go. And because I refuse to let some "I take Film study Courses in college" punk tell me Majority Opinion is always right. In fact, with your fancy learnin', you should be able to come up with better arguments that the ones you do.

LOL Matt...I have seen her at times and thought of her as attractive, but I go back and forth. At times, she does look like that Janice muppet,or the puppet from Eureeka's Castle. With her nose, she sometimes looks to me like a glammed-up Gaylen Ross from Dawn Of The Dead '78/Madman.

I saw her on SNL and I have to disagree. She sounded terrible: thin, little voice that only sounded decent when she hit the choruses--and had backing.

She did so well in the skits, however, that I wouldn't be surprised if she eventually switched to acting.
