A little off-topic, but I like how they completely change Elisha Cuthberts's outfit on the Girl Next Door cover. Kinda makes me laugh for some reason, and also that the boy is wearing a blue shirt now, not red.

I actually like the Witchboard cover, but I hate the movie.

i like both. I'm glad the Night of the Demons cover is the same (or close enough) to the vhs i'm use to.

  5. I love that Futurama vol.4 cover...

If it's like the foriegn release that picture is just on a plastic cover and the actual box has x-ray pictures of Bender and Fry..

On the NotD and Witchboard covers I like.

Well the pictures of the guy in the window are completely different. However, I'm led to believe that that's not Elisha's body at all on the DVD art. It's way too small for her head and they moved her arm so her shoulder is very close to her chin. Who knows if that's even her on the theatrical poster? At least it's seemingly in proportion there.

I hope that isn't the actual Unrated cover of The Girl Next Door. That looks shitty as all hell.

Night looks good and Witch looks ok not shitty but fine.

Night of the Demons looks good, Witchboard looks kind of crappy though. Not that it matters. I am getting them both and am damn happy about it. Thank you Anchor Bay.

Yeah, the Witchboard cover reminds me of the Vcd from Hong Kong. Its not that bad really, but the original artwork would have been best. Or at least have Tawny Kitaen as the chick on the cover.

I love both these films and have been waiting a long time for them. I really hope AB includes alot of extras on "Night of the Demons".

I am so excited that Night of the Demons is finally coming out on DVD. It is one of my favorite horror movies and hope it had a load of special features. Does anybody know what will be on the DVD?

In the meantime, Felsher also gave Fango the specs for its discs of two Kevin Tenney-directed chillers, WITCHBOARD and NIGHT OF THE DEMONS:

    WITCHBOARD:
    • New 1.85:1 16x9-enhanced transfer
    • Original mono audio
    • Audio commentary by Tenney, executive producer Walter Josten and producer Jeff Geoffray
    • A 20-minute making-of segment, “compiled from original interviews conducted during the making of the movie and on-set footage,” according to Felsher
    • Theatrical trailer and TV spots

    NIGHT OF THE DEMONS:
    • New 1.85:1, 16x9-enhanced hi-def transfer
    • Ultra-Stereo 2.0 audio
    • Audio commentary by Tenney, Josten and Geoffray
    • Felsher’s 14-minute “My Demon Nights with Linnea Quigley” featurette
    • Promo reel used to sell the film during its first release
    • Theatrical and video trailers and TV spots

i will get both these discs even though i already have the anamorphic witchboard disc from catalyst logic in region 3. one thing i notice right away from the specs though-- the witchboard disc i have has a great transfer and a 5.1 soundtrack as opposed to a mono track on the upcoming AB disc.

  15. from Fangoria.com:

"And for WITCHBOARD [which streets August 24], we’re including a mini-replica of the Ouija board inside, with a punchout planchette you can use."

    I found that kinda funny.

And someone very familiar to all of you loaned them the ouija board which was used for the mini-relica. ;)

    Yours truly. :)

They're sending my board back in a couple of weeks as a matter of fact.

It was an promo item sent to my parents' video store back in the day, from Witchboard's original VHS release.
