I actually do have about $10,000 saved up, not including some inheritance and gift money coming soon totalling $5-$6k, so it feels like nothing. Everybody else is just a millionaire I guess.
It looks like they really have indeed now been shipped. I got a tracking number earlier from Homosassa, FL which I'm pretty certain is it, and it should be here on Tuesday.
Sorry, everyone. Early reports are that these are, in fact, NOT pressed discs, but BD-R and CD-R. No word yet of PQ/AQ. https://www.facebook.com/groups/horrorbluraymaniac/permalink/1092806394092062/
Lame, but most of us figured there was probably a good chance of that being true to begin with. The Sebastians just don't let their films go to anyone else to be released. I ordered it when I had an excess $50 to spend... I'm just glad I didn't pay extra for any of the autograph crap. What's all the shit on the frontpage of the Facebook page though? Billy's acting like Bill from Code Red now. I don't even get what the hell he's going off about.
The credit card payments were processed direct through the charity. It might even be possible to enter it as a tax deduction.
The CD is in fact a CD, not a CD-R. But the Blu-Ray is BD-R. From what I've read. I would really like to see some stills soon. I am hoping it's not a video rip. Oh god, please, please be a widescreen film transfer! D:
If the CD is factory pressed, that's good news at least...because I friggin' LOVE the soundtrack. I even bought a Sorcery CD years ago direct from one of the band members and it was a CD-R (albeit autographed). No clue yet... More pics posted: http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=12294836&postcount=105 The CD appears to indeed be a CD-R also. At least it looks like it uses up more of the disc space than the Killing Spree Blu-ray did.
"There are legitimate Blu-rays!" Yeah, I think I'll stick with the VHS. Damn... I was really hoping to sell it and make some coin.
