Not doing too bad! I'd forgotten I even mentioned Dark Half/Monkey Shines. That was a total surprise. I'm most happy about Planet of the Vampires though.

I'd really like to see Renato Polselli's MANIA released. Another big one for me would be EYES OF FIRE.

One of the hundreds of TV movies that will probably never be released on DVD.

I'm grateful we at least got Dark Night Of The Scarecrow on blu-ray.

Agreed - I find this one totally enjoyable (though not for its contributions to the Friday saga), but it loses much in the cut version. And it's not as if the censored material doesn't exist - the DVD has the unrated cut, after all.

A few obscure titles I'd love to see released to Blu-ray:

    Nightmare Weekend (1984)
Beyond Evil (1980) this Quentin Tarantino fave deserves better. The pan & scan version is horrible.
The House on Tombstone Hill (1989) preferable under this title, not the Troma re-title.
    The Hearse (1980)
Heaven (1998) not really horror but unsettling and bloody/violent.
Psycho Beach Party (2000) fun slasher/beach movies spoof.

    Long overdue:

    The Manitou
    Eyes of Laura Mars
    Prophecy (1979)
    Bug (1975)
    After Midnight (1989)
    Campfire Tales (1997)

This might be an odd choice, especially for a horror forum, but I would really like a blu-ray of A Night In Heaven, namely because the OOP Anchor Bay DVD is so obscenely expensive. I'd even take one of Anchor Bay's menuless blu-rays, I don't care (though I'd prefer it went to someone who would put a little effort into it).

I remember stumbling across it on Fox Movie Channel a long time ago. Those amazing opening credits kicked in, with NASA and the space rocket and the Bryan Adams ballad. I was thinking it's going to be this amazing '80s science fiction adventure in the vein of Explorers, Flight Of The Navigator, The Manhattan Project, WarGames, D.A.R.Y.L., etc. Imagine my surprise when it turns out to be this little melodrama about a married woman having an affair with a male stripper. Still, it was an extremely entertaining bad movie that I would love to add to my collection. That Bryan Adams song came on the radio the other day, and I've been itching to watch it again ever since.

May would be very welcome. The flat that a LOT of footage was cut would be a good enough excuse for some new extra features, and an upgrade.

I noticed that the studios hardly give 80's comedies a lot of treatment on blu, but horror and action get full treatment..

I am really surprised that Hell Night and Phantasm haven't got a full blu treatment yet.. after all these years.. I would also like to see The Prey, And The Pit, get one too..
