Got these from John Dods Facebook page. Some he took down, but I had saved them in an album of my own.

(Right below) Final stage transformation that didn't make it into the movie. It was a stop motion creation:

(Below) A stop motion spider that also never made it into the movie.

Man, this film could have been SO much better in its original "Tortured Souls" cut.

seriously, have never seen the movie, but just looking at those kind of pics makes me want to check it out, no matter how advanced CGI becomes, it will never match the magic of the above kind of FX work IMO

IMDb lists Twisted Souls as the working title. It was called The Anger when Fangoria did an early article back in the days. Never knew there was a different cut with a different title.

Twisted Souls was the title when it first went into production, but the movie wasn't finished. A year later, they went back to finish it with a different director and different actors.

Those pictures are great, even if the movie kind of sucks.

Right TWISTED Souls, my bad. Guilty pleasure of mine too. Everytime I see it, I can't help but get annoyed by the "Spookies" portion of the film.

The haunted house stuff, as cheesy as it was, was great though. Too bad the farting mud men were completely out of place.

Always had a fascination with the Spider-Woman mythology, which is why I graviated towards this movie. ONLY other movie that delves into that myth is another favorite of mine, CURSE OF THE BLACK WIDOW.

Unfortunately there is no decent release of this cool flick. Unless if you want to spend money on some 25+ year old x-rental VHS tape. Such a shame we may never see this on DVD. I know there is some PAL version out there just have no idea if it's just a dvdrip.
