I used to have the Platinum DVD, but sold it off after I bought the German blu-ray. So I have nothing to compare it to anymore.

As for extras, the German blu-ray comes with the soundtrack CD. You could maybe put the audio tracks in the special features?

Found this behind-the-scenes featurette on YouTube.

What was the final verdict on the media book Trick or TreatBlu - I'm lukewarm about the movie but if the transfer was stellar I might bite. but those screen caps look blown out and too bright and skin tones look off. Combined with the bad audio... maybe wait and see if this turns up somewhere else in better shape eventually?

I haven't watched the blu-ray in a while, but from what I remember it was sourced from a German 35mm print under the title Ragman, so to give you an idea of something comparable, I'd say Scream Factory's The Final Terror blu-ray. I wouldn't call the transfer stellar, but it looks good and is probably the best version out there. I'm glad to own it, no regrets.

Speaking of Trick Or Treat, I visited some of the filming locations while in Wilmington a couple weeks ago. Had dinner at a seafood restaurant on the Cape Fear River right next to the bridge Eddie drives off at the end of the movie.

The Mediabook was not to good, the colors were terrible and it had the Ragman title and the audio was horrible!

And I bought both Mediabooks but at least I did get 2 very cool t-shirts!

I'll pass for now. Packaging looks great, but I'm a patient man.
