So I watched Mindwarp today. My first viewing. What a terrible film. Even Bruce Campbell couldn't save this one. None of the acting was good. The effects were laughable (especially considering KNB did them). Just all around bad. Fangoria really failed with this one.

Didn't realize Twilight Time has these releases last week.

    Murphy's Law (1986)
Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins (1985)
    Eye of the Needle (1981)
    9 to 5 (1980)
    From Noon to Three (1976)
    Bobby Deerfield (1977)

All above are the usual 3000 Limited Edition.

    These are new for pre-order:

    Boxcar Bertha (1972)
    Runaway Train (1985)
    The Train (encore edition)
    Hush...Hush Sweet Charlotte (1964)
    The Chase (1966)

All above are the usual 3000 Limited Edition.

I have the Arrow blu of Remo Williams. It blows the Twilight Time version away. I was really hoping Shout! would acquire the rights for a state side release. Oh well.

It does? Any details? You've seen the TT version? Arrow came out over 2 years ago.

I am assuming it uses the same HD transfer. I haven't seen screen caps from the Twilight Time version though. I was mostly referring to the extra features. The Arrow version has a lot of great stuff. Plus if you're region free you can grab it for pretty cheap.

Oh ok, I thought there was a review for the TT already. But yeah, Arrow is heavy on the special features. Thanks

I found the TT Night of the living dead release at my local used shop today for $35. I looked at it but didn't buy it. I might go back and get it next week. Is it worth it?

It's all relative, right? It is if you don't mind pay the $$$ for a Blu/film you like.

You're right. It's just that this disc is flawed (transfer wise) which is kinda why I've stayed away from it so far. But the temptation...

Just order the region-free Australian Blu-ray for far cheaper ... or find the TeamBlu project.

Didn't Savini approve of it? But again, $35 seems about fair for something I'd want, especially if it was OOP.

I have the Umbrella version also and must say it much better than the TT version. The TT version is well documented on how bad they screwed up the transfer.;)

Supposedly he approved and signed off on the "new look".

I put more worth if it's the Cinematographer/DOP that approves a transfer or later color grading.

awesome, you do that then......however, my main point is, if it's worth $35 or whatever to someone then buy it and enjoy the hell out of it. If not, put it back on the shelf.

It doesn't make sense to spend $35.00 when a better version is available for less money.

Amazon has the superior region free Australian version available right now for $15.65. The Twilight Time blu-ray is great if you really want the audio only track.
