Why would they sign there? Sorry to hear that, but congrats on having it nonetheless.
Is it at least on front of the notes? You could maybe slide those in front of the cover to display it if so.

It looks like people are more than willing to pay outrageous prices on ebay.

There have been at least 15+ completed auctions in the past week going just just shy of (or over) $100 each. :eek1: I can't say I'm surprised though..and the prices appear to be going progressively up.

There's a single seller on Amazon who has a listing for 9 copies at $125 each.

The seller on Amazon hawking copies at $125 a piece is Amazon itself! (Marketplace sellers don't offer Prime shipping). Wow! I feel like I have a priceless artifact in my collection. While I'm glad to have a copy and the PQ is very nice, I would NEVER pay a super-inflated price for a movie, no matter how rare. The insanity!

Exactly, that's why we all bought ours weeks ago. Good work, team!

:banana:I pre-ordered my copy on November 14th, but, maybe the people that are paying the inflated prices didn't know about it until December 19th, when it sold out. I want to thank the person who did the thread originally, because I have been wanting Fright Night on Blu-Ray since I purchased my HD TV and Blu-Ray player about 7 months ago. A few years ago on eBay, I paid over $100.00 for the complete soundtrack to Fright Night, all 28 tracks.

Wow. I found a torrent of the complete soundtrack quite easily.

No, it is not Amazon that is selling it. It's a Marketplace seller named "Serenity-Now" who are selling it and the items are FULFILLED by Amazon. That means that the seller has sent the items to Amazon and they will keep them in their warehouse and ship them out for the seller. That is how Prime shipping is available there.

And that seller's price has jumped to $150 now.

The only difference between my copy of the complete soundtrack to Fright Night I purchased over 3 years ago, is that my cd case is red, not black. These cds were only available through the Fright Night Fan Club in the 80s, but I guess the price has gone down a bit on them.

    Yeah same.

That being said, I had no idea the OOP Anchor Bay DVD of Silent Night Deadly Night 1 and 2 was worth a much as it's goin for on eBay (like $80-100 in some cases). My Fright Night blu ray and my double feature SNDN 1/2 DVD have become two of my most prized possessions.

Anyone in the UK recieved theirs yet. Mine was sent on the 9th but no sign as of today. I've never lost anything in the post before but I'm paranoid about this release due to the "we're not replacing any lost items" debacle.

I also own SNDN 1 & 2 and Silent Night Deadly Night seperately. I can't believe myself that it's going for that much, also. This is why whenever a DVD/Blu-Ray comes out, I buy it either the day it comes out, or within a week, because you never know when it is going to go out of print. Fright Night 2 DVD, I purchased it the day it came out, and look how much FN 2 is going for now.

Especially if you can find one in widescreen.

I will have to look at the covers, but they may be Widescreen, I don't know.

Love the signature from They Live, one of Carpenter's better movies.

Fright Night 2 only exists on legit dvd in Full Screen, any and all WS copies are bootlegs to some degree. It never got a legit WS release, just the quick FS from Artisan. Don't buy it WS, download it and burn your own.

Yeah you can get a 720p version of Fright Night 2 in widescreen pretty easily. There are a bunch of torrents out there (check isohunt).

Yeah, but while I´m happy with my 720p version, I´m still seeking for a 1080p version.
