Norbit is nowhere near as bad as people say
How you doing?
I haven't seen the sequel yet, but after The Boondock Saints- I'm feeling brave.
Working Girl is the best movie of 1988, and Rain Man is nowhere near as good.
here are 10 from 88 better than WOrking Girl
1. Die Hard
2.Grave of the Fireflies
3. Cinema Paradiso
4. They live
6. Above the Law
7. Rain Man
8. Midnight Run
10. Coming to America
I respect your opinion, but I don't agree with it. From that list, I liked Die Hard, Big, Midnight Run, They Live, Above the Law, and Coming to America. I'd give Rain Man a fricking zero if I could. I've rarely seen a movie as boring. Hoffman deserved better, and Cruise deserved better. To whoever reads this, you can agree or disagree. It doesn't matter.
Benedict Cumberbatch is an awful actor
Warren Beatty is pretty terrible as well
When people post these kinds of things, I think that they should also post a few examples of actors that they find to be amazing for some perspective.
I dont think people shout at all but here you go
to name a handful
LOL... it was rumoured anyways
Oh my god, no. I respect anyone's opinion, but awful? No.
Before you write off Beatty, I would ask if you have seen him in Bonnie & Clyde, Shampoo, or Parallax View. I used to really not like him as well until I saw his stuff from the 70s.
But, then again, I was never really into Brando that much, so it may just be a general clashing of tastes thing.
He was really bad (way too melodramatic) in Star Trek, but I've really liked him in all the other roles I've seen him do.
I did not like him at all in Bonnie and Clyde, its been an age since I saw Shampoo but I didnt care for the film. Not seen the Paralex view, best ive seen him is in McCabe and Mrs. Miller where he was passable although miscast
He always looks like hes trying to act rather than be the role to me, he looks awful in the clips for the Imitation Gam and I cannot stand him as Sherlock.
Well indeed, awful may be a little strong but I find him well below average generally and he certainly puts me off seeing a film if he has a big part in it.
Fair enough. The most recent films that I watched in which I found the acting to be awful were Godzilla and Annabelle. The two leads (husband and wife) in Godzilla were so bad imo that they destroyed the film. In Annabelle, the actor that portrayed the husband of the main character deserves a Razzie for his performance. Fortunately I was still able to enjoy that film.
