The mystery Blu-ray has been announced:

Sounds great — there apparently is no "Part I"

Frozen Scream (another WTF title) will be a bonus on the DVD in the BD/DVD combo!

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0173866/

So basically, if you contributed $65+ you'll get 4 movies on the two exclusive releases.

Interesting. Not real excited but they could be fun.

I like this combo better. Maybe we'll get that next!

Frozen Scream is pretty bad. I only watched it because there was a chapter on it in Nightmare USA.

Since I didn't contribute, glad to see it's something I don't have interest in owning. If we're talking Part II's to movies that don't exist, I'd much rather have Surf II.

Executioner II is Don't Go in the Woods bad, with an Urban setting. It's Z-Film brilliance if that is your kind of thing. Never watched Frozen Scream though.

While that's an interesting and probable theory, I'd assume they are doubled-up because both are Renee Harmon produced.

I'm just hoping for a theme here because a Slayer/Scalps Blu would be sick :)

Sounds like they will send the exclusives but you have to email for the others. Not a great email. I've already requested Don't Go in the Woods which they already sent me tracking info for.

Scalps has forthcoming Blu-Ray releases from Retromedia (US, No Release Date yet) and 88 Films (UK, April 20, 2015).

Oh cool, I just got my tracking info for don't go in the Woods too! I'm glad I ponied up for the exclusives as Executioner part II sounds EXACTLY like my kind of trash!

I am still on the fence which 'Don't go into the woods' to get: 88films or Vinegar Syndrome. Maybe you can help.

Are the audio commentary on the Vinegar disc by 'Hysteria Continues' and the 'Autograph singning party' the only additional extras?
I can not figure out if the 'Making of' on the 88 is the same as the 'Featurette' on the Vinegar disc. The same goes for the 'TV promotion compilation' (Vinegar) vs. 'Talk show appearnace' (88).

According to BluRay.com the vinegar disc is only a 25GB disc whereas the 88films one is a GB50 disc (10K Bullets).

Some reviews pointed out that the 88 disc of Mother's Day is much better picturewise than the 25GB Anchor Bay Blu because of the higher bitrate of the 50GB disc. Could the same be true for the 50GB UK disc of 'Woods'? I would rather take a superior picture of the feature over some additional extras.

So which one is the one to get???? :(

Yeah, those are the only additional extras on the VG release.

I think they are most likely the same. Someone wrote a review on Amazon UK, and stated the running time of the 'Featurette' was 56 minutes, the exact same as the VG release according to the Blu-ray.com review.

Yes, the 88 Films release is definitely a 50GB dual-layer disc. Somebody confirmed it on DVDProfiler. If there's much difference in the encodes or bit-rates though, I have no idea.

Just checked the dvd to make sure of what extra's were on the disc, and I ended up glancing at the "movie" ( Don't go in the woods" and my god I couldn't sit there looking for more than a minute or two.......
I'm thinking the dvd of that particular piece of cinematic art is good enough on dvd...( until it comes on sale and I know I'll cave)
