I've never heard it called a buggy here. Just shopping cart, or more commonly, cart.

I never heard anyone call it Buggy. Everyone here says Shopping Cart or just plain Cart, that's it.

I don't use either term exclusively, but more often than not, it's a buggy.

In a trip to Connecticut, I heard them called carriages which confused me no end. I was confused a lot that trip now that I think of it.

"Cart", unless I have a lot of money, then it's a black hole. :)

Just to be different again, we call 'em 'trolleys' here (possibly because they often get stolen from the shops and dumped under bridges)

cart. The real question is........do the carts in your area, always have one wheel that goes where ever it damn well pleases. I always end-up getting a cart with a screwed up wheel. :fuck:

Every single one, and they all pull to the right too.

They're usually called carts here too. We use them when buying large ammounts of pop.;)

Cart or shopping cart.I usually get one that starts out rolling okay and then half way across the store one wheel suddenly freezes up and makes a loud honking noise while I shudder to a halt, looking like I'm having a seizure.

The old-timers here call it buggy.

People who successfully moved past the 4th grade call it cart.
