Wait... all the good stuff happens in Texas? Since when?? I naturally assume more happens in L.A. and NYC than in shithole Houston. Perhaps Austin and San Antonio see more action, but Texas is a gigantic state and Houston generally gets zilch as I've observed. :(

There's a show I'm DYING to go to in March but it will cost over $250 (for me to see one damn show, one ticket) AND it's in Austin. I'm so screwed, grr.

If you think that Texas has nothing, try living in Pittsburgh. The only good things we have are zombies, George Romero, more zombies, and Tom Savini.

Come to think of it, Pittsburgh ain't that bad ;)

I'm glad to see that Universal is making an effort to get the original back out into the spotlight again and not just having a screening of the remake. Very admirable I must say.

That's ok. I plan on visiting the Alamo some day. I hear they keep some pretty crazy stuff in the basement.

if Hank Hill lives in Texas, I think its fair to assume that all the good stuff really does happen in Texas.

    Yeah, no shit!

Maybe there's better stuff in Dallas/Ft. Worth and definitely better stuff in Austin than here, but Houston is the asshole of Texas.
